 A Bill to amend Section 56-11-140, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as
 amended, relating to collision, comprehensive, fire, theft and combine
 additional motor vehicle liability insurance coverages, so as to provide a
 mandatory fifty dollar deductible for collision coverage, a choice of larger
 deductibles for collision coverage and a choice of deductibles for
 comprehensive, fire, theft and combined additional coverages; to require
 notification to motorists that savings can be realized with higher
 deductibles; to prohibit a change of the level of deductibles without express
 authorization of the insured; to provide for premium levels for described
 coverages; and to amend the 1976 Code by adding Section 39-5-35 so as to make
 it unlawful trade practice to provide coverages with or without certain
 deductibles as a condition for obtaining a loan for the purchase of an
 automobile.-at
