A CONCURRENT

TO COMMEND AND CONGRATULATE THE UNIVERSITY OF
SOUTH CAROLINA AND ITS COLLEGE OF BUSINESS
ADMINISTRATION FOR CLAIMING THE NUMBER ONE
RANKING FOR ITS MASTERS IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
PROGRAM FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR.
Whereas, the College of Business Administration of USC has long been
a hallmark of quality education among the many fine programs offered
by the University, and;
Whereas, the Masters in International Business program is the crown
jewel of the broad array of excellent offerings of the College of Business
Administration, and;
Whereas, the ranking of the Masters in International Business program
as Number 1 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report for
the fourth consecutive year has unquestionably affirmed this program as
the "best in the nation", and;
Whereas, the ranking is based on the judgement and opinions of
business school deans and program directors from across the country and
is their assessment of academic excellence, faculty strength and
achievement in the area of scholarly research, and;
Whereas, this great honor is in the fine tradition of the continuing
activities and efforts of the University of South Carolina, which bring
honor and acclaim to our beloved State;
Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the General Assembly extends its heartiest congratulations and high

Business Administration for receiving national first place ranking for its
Masters in International Business program for the fourth consecutive
year.
