 A HOUSE RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE MR. AND MRS. LESLIE P. BYRD,
 JR., OF DARLINGTON COUNTY ON THE JOYOUS OCCASION OF THEIR FIFTIETH WEDDING
 ANNIVERSARY AND TO EXPRESS BEST WISHES TO THE BYRDS FOR MANY MORE YEARS OF
 HAPPINESS TOGETHER.

TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE MR. AND MRS. LESLIE P. BYRD, JR., OF DARLINGTON COUNTY ON THE JOYOUS OCCASION OF THEIR FIFTIETH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND TO EXPRESS BEST WISHES TO THE BYRDS FOR MANY MORE YEARS OF HAPPINESS TOGETHER.

Whereas, Leslie and Dora Ellen Byrd were married on May 3, 1952, and have lived most of their married life in Hartsville, South Carolina; and

Whereas, the Byrds are devoted to each other and have loyally stood together as a model married couple for fifty years; and

Whereas, the Byrds are the proud parents of four children: Perry, Angela, Allison, and Garrett; and

Whereas, this loving couple's contributions to their family, friends, and community have earned them justifiable affection and respect of all those with whom they have worked or served; and

Whereas, the Byrd's Golden Wedding Anniversary is an occasion of joy and celebration, and the members of the House of Representatives are pleased to honor them in this special manner. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, wish to recognize and congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Leslie P. Byrd, Jr., of Darlington County on the joyous occasion of their fiftieth wedding anniversary, and express their best wishes to the Byrds for many more years of happiness together.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Byrd.
