 PLACE IN THE ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY CATEGORY IN THE CITY OF NORTH CHARLESTON'S "CLEAN
 CITIES SWEEP" AS A PART OF THE "2000 GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP CONTEST".

CONGRATULATING THE ARMY NATIONAL GUARD ON WINNING SECOND PLACE IN THE ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY CATEGORY IN THE CITY OF NORTH CHARLESTON'S "CLEAN CITIES SWEEP" AS A PART OF THE "2000 GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP CONTEST".

Whereas, the Army National Guard has won second place in the Adopt-A-Highway Category the City of North Charleston's "Clean Cities Sweep" as a part of the "2000 Great American Cleanup Contest"; and

Whereas, this contest encourages volunteers to go out into their various neighborhoods and clean up a designated area; and

Whereas, this is an outstanding honor for the Army National Guard and is greatly deserving of recognition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates the Army National Guard on winning second place in the Adopt-A-Highway Category in the City of North Charleston's "Clean Cities Sweep" as a part of the "2000 Great American Cleanup".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Army National Guard.
