 CHEERLEADING SQUAD ON BECOMING THE FIRST AND ONLY TEAM IN DUTCH FORK HIGH
 SCHOOL'S HISTORY TO REPEAT AS STATE CHAMPIONS.

A SENATE RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING THE DUTCH FORK HIGH SCHOOL SILVER FOX CHEERLEADING SQUAD ON BECOMING THE FIRST AND ONLY TEAM IN DUTCH FORK HIGH SCHOOL'S HISTORY TO REPEAT AS STATE CHAMPIONS.

Whereas, the Dutch Fork High School Cheerleading Squad had a record 2000 season by becoming the first and only team in Dutch Fork High School's history to repeat as Class AAAA State Champions; and

Whereas, under the leadership of Coach Sherri Kirkland, the squad deserves to be recognized for the many hours of hard work and practice they have put into their routines to achieve this goal; and

Whereas, the members of the Silver Fox squad who have been so ably trained by Coach Kirkland and who have exhibited tremendous team spirit are: Annabel Barnhart, Erin Caskey, April Davison, Kelly Edrington, Emily Geiger, Jamie Hill, Co-Captain, Chelsea Howard, Stephanie Johns, Anna Lewis, Lindsay Martin, Robyn McHale, Jessie Meek, Captain, Kassie Moore, Tobin Raymond, Blaine Reedy, Brooke Reedy, Kendall Robinson, Brannon Rutherford, Shelly Stier, Lindsay Study, and Shannon Wade; and

Whereas, in recognition of this talented group of young ladies representing the Dutch Fork High School Silver Foxes, the members of the South Carolina Senate wish to recognize them publicly on this accomplishment. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate of the State of South Carolina express their congratulations to the Dutch Fork High School Silver Fox Cheerleading Squad on becoming the first and only team in Dutch Fork High School's history to repeat as state champions by winning the 2000 Class AAAA State Championship.

Be it further resolved that copies of this resolution be presented to Dr. Ron Cowden, Dutch Fork High School Principal, and Coach Sherri Kirkland.
