A CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
COMMENDING BUD DURHAM, OLIN HOWARD, AND BOB
PERRY FOR THEIR HEROIC EFFORTS IN APPREHENDING A
PAIR OF PURSE SNATCHERS IN PENDLETON'S TOWN
SQUARE AND EXPRESSING APPRECIATION ON BEHALF OF
THE FEMALE TOURIST FROM STONE MOUNTAIN,
GEORGIA.
Whereas, a female tourist from Stone Mountain, Georgia, was
victimized by a pair of purse snatchers outside of The Framery
recently in Pendleton; and
Whereas, without fear for their personal safety, Bud Durham and
Olin Howard quickly reacted to Bob Perry's yell of "Purse
snatcher" outside the shop on Exchange Street and chased
down the thieves; and
Whereas, this immediate response resulted in the apprehension of
the pair of purse snatchers. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate
concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution,
commend Bud Durham, Olin Howard, and Bob Perry for their
heroic efforts in apprehending a pair of purse snatchers in
Pendleton's Town Square and express appreciation on bahalf of the
female tourist from Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to
Bud Durham, Olin Howard, and Bob Perry of Pendleton.
