H 2807 General Bill, By S.H. Howard and R.L. Cobb
 A Bill to amend Sections 6-11-170, 6-11-280, 6-11-1230, Items (1) and (2) and
 6-15-70, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to Special Purpose
 Districts and Public Service Districts and unpaid service charges, so as to
 provide that a lien for unpaid charges shall apply to all Special Purpose or
 Public Service Districts instead of just those formed by petition; to provide
 a penalty for interfering with sewers and waterworks after notice to
 discontinue use or to disconnect; to provide for coordination and cooperation
 between Special Purpose and Public Service Districts operating wastewater
 treatment facilities and separate water distribution agencies within a
 District; and to provide for notice to water distribution agencies and the
 local Department of Health and Environmental Control Office in the event of a
 sewer disconnection.
