    AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 44-7-264 SO AS TO REQUIRE THE OWNER OF A NURSING HOME OR A COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL CARE FACILITY TO UNDERGO STATE AND NATIONAL CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECKS AS A REQUIREMENT OF LICENSURE AND TO ENUMERATE THOSE CRIMES THAT PRECLUDE LICENSURE; AND TO AMEND SECTION 44-7-2910, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF "DIRECT CARE ENTITY" AS USED IN CONNECTION WITH CONDUCTING CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS OF DIRECT CARE STAFF. - ratified title
