H 3755 General Bill, By Sharpe, T.E. Huff, I.K. Rudnick and R. Smith
    A Bill to amend Section 12-37-2610, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the tax year on motor vehicles, so as to delete certain exemptions to the provisions of the Section involving motor vehicle dealers and motor vehicles registered under the International Reciprocity Plan, and to amend the 1976 Code by adding Section 12-37-2625 so as to provide that a person may transfer a license from one vehicle to another without payment of an additional property tax provided the ownership of the vehicle from which the license is transferred becomes vested in a person other than a member of the transferee's immediate family.
