A Bill to require members of state boards, committees, councils, and commissions to attend a minimum number of meetings annually, to provide that failure to attend the requisite number of meetings constitutes persistent neglect of duty for purposes of Section 1-3-240 of the 1976 Code of Laws, and to provide that this Act does not apply to ex officio members or their designees.
