Summary: Board of the Diabetes Initiative
    AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 44-39-20, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE BOARD OF THE DIABETES INITIATIVE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, SO AS TO DELETE THE REQUIREMENT THAT THE PRESIDENT OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA AFFILIATE OF THE AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION BE A MEMBER OF THE BOARD; TO PROVIDE THAT THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE SOUTHEASTERN DIVISION OF THE AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION BE A MEMBER OF THE BOARD; AND TO DELETE THE REQUIREMENT THAT THE BOARD'S MEMBERSHIP INCLUDE AN APPOINTEE FROM THE JOINT LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE ON HEALTH CARE PLANNING AND OVERSIGHT. - ratified title
