A Bill to amend Section 20-1-230, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to marriage licenses, so as to increase the marriage license fee from one dollar to six dollars, and to amend Section 20-1-370, relating to the disposition of marriage license fees, so as to provide that the increase in these fees must be used for battered spouse and family violence programs of the Department of Social Services.
