A Bill to amend Section 8-11-40, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to sick leave for state employees so as to provide that sick leave may be taken by an employee when a member of his immediate family is sick and it is necessary for the employee to provide care to his family member, and to define the term "immediate family" for purposes of the above provision.
