A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 48-23-15 so as to provide that the State Forester is elected by the General Assembly for a term of four years and until his successor is elected and qualifies, to devolve on the State Forester all the powers and duties of the State Commission of Forestry, and to repeal Sections 48-23-10, 48-23-20, 48-23-30, 48-23-40, 48-23-50, and 48-23-60, relating to the establishment of the State Commission of Forestry.
