    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS THE GENUINE APPRECIATION AND THANKS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA GENERAL ASSEMBLY FOR THE STEADFAST SUPPORT AND LOYALTY OF SPAIN AS AN ALLY OF THE UNITED STATES THROUGHOUT THE IRAQI CRISIS, TO COMMEND THE LEADERS OF THE GOVERNMENT OF SPAIN FOR THEIR COURAGE IN THE FACE OF POPULAR OPPOSITION TO THE INVASION OF IRAQ TO REPLACE SADDAM HUSSEIN AND RID IRAQ OF WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, AND TO URGE A CONTINUATION OF GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN SPAIN AND THE UNITED STATES IN THE YEARS TO COME.
