    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION TO OFFER THE CONGRATULATIONS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO CHIEF LEWIS McCARTY, CHIEF DEPUTY AND SECOND IN COMMAND IN THE LEXINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, ON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT, AND TO EXPRESS THE MEMBERS' GRATITUDE THAT CHIEF McCARTY HAS DEDICATED HIS PROFESSIONAL LIFE TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AND HAS SPENT THIRTY-SIX YEARS IN THIS CAREER SO IMPORTANT TO THE CITIZENS OF LEXINGTON COUNTY AND THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.
